The best spot for a live printing station is rarely the biggest room. It's the place where the line helps the event: visible enough to pull people over, organized enough to move, and close enough to the action that guests want in.
Start with what the event needs
For lead capture, put the station on a convention floor or in a sponsor lounge near the Indiana Convention Center. For social content, a pop-up on Mass Ave or a loft in Fountain Square works better, since the room is part of the shot. For guest gifts, keep the press by check-in, the cocktail hour or the exit so everyone passes it once.
Parts of Indianapolis to consider
- Downtown & Convention Center: expo halls, skywalk hotels, the stadium and the fieldhouse.
- Mass Ave Arts District: galleries, lofts and launch nights.
- Broad Ripple: patios, nightlife and private parties.
- Fountain Square: music rooms and loft receptions.
- Speedway: race-week hospitality around the Motor Speedway.
- Carmel & Fishers: corporate campuses north of the city.
What the room has to provide
Most spaces work if they can give us a 10×10 area, two dedicated 120V circuits, a level floor and a line path that doesn't block doors or service lanes. Outdoors, at a Speedway tent or a patio, we also need cover from rain and a plan for wind.
Quick check: if the venue fits a merch table and a short line, it can probably fit a live station. Send the floor plan and we'll flag power, load-in or line issues before we quote.
Indianapolis planning
Load-in varies more than the room does
Downtown venues run on dock windows and power orders placed weeks ahead. A Mass Ave or Fountain Square space is usually a door and a lift. A Carmel campus has parking by the entrance. Since our gear ships freight from Fullerton, we need the delivery details for your venue before it leaves.
