Three things: space, power and a way in. Give us ten by ten feet per station, two dedicated 120V circuits, and dock or lift access for the road cases. At the Indiana Convention Center the power is ordered through the venue and load-in runs on a marshalling schedule, so we need that window in writing. A Mass Ave Arts District loft or a hotel ballroom is usually simpler, as long as the circuit isn't shared with catering.
The venue checklist
- Floor space: about 10×10 ft per station, plus a lane for the line. In a convention booth, the front of the space becomes intake.
- Power: two dedicated 120V/20A circuits per station. Downtown halls sell these through exhibitor services, and the advance deadline is cheaper than ordering on arrival.
- Load-in: a dock slot, a service door or a lift. Our crates arrive by freight from Fullerton, so we need the delivery address and the receiving hours.
- Surface and cover: a level floor indoors. Outside, at a Speedway hospitality tent or a festival lot, we need cover from rain and a plan for wind.
We bring the presses, ink, blanks, tables and crew, and we handle setup and teardown around your run-of-show. If your room has a power limit, tell us early and we'll build the station around it.
Once we have the venue name, we'll confirm the footprint and the circuits and fold the load-in into the plan. Send the details and we'll map your Indianapolis space.
